Tiburon
Tiburona is a band from Madrid formed by Laura del Amo (guitar and voice), Malena (bass and voice) and Supercarmen (drums and voice), that comes to captivate us with its songs and make us dance without stopping. Your strong point? They are real, They know what they want and they sing and play all three. No hierarchies.
In 2020 They released their first EP, of homonymous title, which was continued in 2021, under the command of Paco Loco, with the LP Alone and happy, composed based on rhythm and soul where there is neither trap nor cardboard. Contagious riffs, explosive spirit, a speech without any type of cover and sixties aromas mixed with the forcefulness, well dosed, of Latin American punk and the urgency of garage that made both references sell out in the blink of an eye.
As an appetizer of what was to come, they released a new single, 'Beautiful poster', instant hit and that coincided in time with the first prize won at the Rock Villa de Madrid Contest 2023, at the same time that they continued to fill venues and attend festivals such as Azkena Rock Festival, Ebrovision, Monkey, Week, Caudal Fest , Canela Party o Torrelavega Sound City
After all this maelstrom, The Madrid power trio had a date with Montgrí (Cala Vento house, Biznaga, The Elite, Yawners….) and after an immediate match, they have said yes. Isn't this some kind of love story?
And falling in love with Tiburona is quite easy, since they are made of a hard and resistant material, but it shines; something like a diamond. Because Laura, Malena and Supercarmen have been composing and touring together in different projects for more than a decade and have built a friendship that is above all else.. Their career has led them to an organic musical and stylistic evolution., in which they travel paths they already knew and explore new ones.
