The collaboration with Fundación Líneas Romero and the UNESCO World Geopark of Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago turned the eighth island into the perfect setting to close an edition marked by respect for the territory and culture.
Caleta del Sebo, 28 June 2026. This Sunday Liquid Sounds put the finishing touch to their Belingueos with an unprecedented experience in La Graciosa, where the music, knowledge and landscape joined hands to celebrate a day that once again demonstrated that the festival is much more than a succession of concerts.
The proposal, organized together with the Líneas Romero Foundation and the UNESCO World Geopark of Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago, It was part of the European Geoparks Week, inviting attendees to discover the uniqueness of the eighth island from a different perspective.
The experience began in the port of Órzola, where the participants embarked towards Caleta del Sebo on a catamaran that turned the journey itself into part of the festival. During navigation, the doctor in Geology and specialist in Physical Volcanology Olaya García offered the talk “Landscapes created by volcanoes: a geological journey through El Río”, bringing attendees closer to the geological history that has shaped one of the most extraordinary landscapes of the Canary Islands.
After scientific dissemination, The trip continued with a very special session of Ale Acosta, who presented a selection of unreleased remixes from his album Future, produced by prominent names of the national electronic scene. Music thus accompanied the journey between Lanzarote and La Graciosa, turning the sea into another stage of the festival.
Already in Caleta del Sebo, The day continued with the free concert of The Blodys, winners of the Sonora festival, who displayed their entire personality on stage, energy and freshness that has led them to become one of the emerging bands with the greatest projection of the moment. Not in vain, after passing through La Graciosa, The group will head to the stage of the Mad Cool Festival, one of the most important festivals in the country.
The programming was completed with a workshop promoted by the Líneas Romero Foundation, in which children and adults participated in the collective creation of a funny hat made from collected plastic waste and other reused materials, uniting creativity, environmental education and citizen participation.
With this initiative, Liquid Sounds once again showed that sustainability is also built through culture, knowledge and community involvement. A philosophy that has accompanied the festival since its beginnings and that in this edition has once again been present in each of its actions..
To Neftali Acosta, director of Liquid Sounds, “For years we have defended that this festival is much more than a lineup of artists. It is a tool to value Lanzarote; your territory, its landscape, his story, its heritage and its local product, attracting a visitor who wants to discover it with respect. Incorporating La Graciosa was a natural step within that philosophy. And do it hand in hand with Líneas Romero Foundation and the UNESCO World Geopark of Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago It has allowed us to build an experience that goes far beyond music, bringing the public closer to the extraordinary natural and geological wealth of a privileged environment, surrounded by one of the largest marine reserves in Europe”.
