The organization has already proceeded to return the tickets and bus tickets, after the cancellation of the festival last Saturday due to inclement weather.
San Bartolome, 11 June 2026. There are difficult decisions that can only be made from responsibility.. The cancellation of the main event of Liquid Sounds, planned for the past 6 June in La Geria, was one of them.
The intense gusts of wind recorded during that day forced the organization to prioritize public safety, artists and workers, adopting a measure as painful as it is necessary. A decision that was widely understood and supported by hundreds of people who, one more time, They demonstrated sharing the values that have turned Sonidos Líquidos into much more than a festival.
Because if Lanzarote has taught anything throughout its history, it is that there is always a way to move forward.. The Geria is, precisely, the best example of it. Where volcanic eruptions forever transformed the landscape, Lanzaroteans found a way to reinvent themselves, to adapt and build beauty where before it seemed impossible. That same spirit of resilience is what inspires Sonidos Líquidos today..
That's why, far from stopping, The organization is already working on the future and announces that the next meeting in La Geria will take place on 5 June 2027. Tickets for this new edition will go on sale tomorrow, Friday., 12 of June, through the usual festival channels.

Obviously we would have liked to experience the edition that we had prepared with so much enthusiasm, but safety had to be above all. What we take with us is affection, the understanding and support of many people who understood and supported the situation from the first moment. That gives us even more strength to continue working and meet again in 2027.”.
The organization would like to expressly thank the support received from attendees, artists, sponsors, institutions, suppliers and human team of the festival, as well as the work carried out by the emergency and security services during the hours in which the meteorological situation was evaluated.
